Bible Reading Today: Leviticus 19-21
Leviticus 19:36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.
Exactly. Precisely. Fair-minded. These are some of the synonyms of "just." Thankfully, we have a God Who is just this! He gives us what we need in an exact, precise, fair-minded measure. With God's help through much prayer, we don't clutter up our lives with unnecessary hardships & difficult weights to carry which were never meant for us. We will have difficult things to face in life, but with God, we can handle them! When we don't heed to God's Word and His Voice in prayer, we do ourselves an injustice and disservice! If we want things to be just right & balanced in our world, we need to follow God's plan & His method. That's what Leviticus is all about! Laws were layed out to help life function in a just way! Are we trusting to God to live a just, balanced life? Balance is so much needed in my life, and I need Jesus at all times to help me hold things together! Let's trust in The Lord to live a just life!
