A Better View
Bible Reading Today: Ezekiel 40-41
In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south. Ezekiel 40:2
God had some great things He wanted to show Ezekiel...but in order to do it, Ezekiel needed a better view with a widened line of sight to truly be able to see it all clearly. So, The Lord set him upon a very high mountain. We have been striving lately as a church to get to higher ground & get to our high places with God, and so this Scripture just confirmed another reason why! Not only is climbing higher quite the adventure, but you get a better view of your surroundings...and the view is more beautiful & captivating when you take the time and put in the effort to climb higher! God has so much more to show us...so much more for us to see...and we can't do it all down here! We need to climb higher, push ourselves a little further, spend a little more time in The Word & prayer & get a better view!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
