A Breath of Fresh Air

Bible Reading Today: Ezekiel 35-37

Ezekiel 37:10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

I love this chapter in Ezekiel...in this chapter, Ezekiel comes to a valley of dry bones-a dead-end situation, basically, a graveyard. But God can bring new life to even the most hopeless of situations! He allows a breath of fresh air to come to something that seems dead in the water. The Lord asked Ezekiel if the dry bones could live...and he replied, "Thou knowest." We KNOW God knows the answer, but God is asking US if we believe it! So God asked Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones! Of course, God could have just done the work and Ezekiel would have been amazed...but God wants us to believe there's a way out and to speak life into our hopeless situations! If we accept hopelessness, there's no room for God! God doesn't want to just do it all for us...He wants us to believe, have faith, and lovingly connect with Him in prayer through the process! A breath of fresh air is possible in your life-and when you receive the Holy Ghost, God's Spirit within us with evidence of speaking with new tongues, that's a new Spiritual life far greater than anything we could imagine! Combine that with repentance & baptism in Jesus' Name, and you have the recipe for revival! New life, new hope & a breath of fresh air!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
