A Dream Disguised
Bible Reading Today: Genesis 35-37
Genesis 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
We are now coming to the chapters about Joseph, Israel's (aka Jacob's) son. Joseph's story starts out with a dream...but as we read, it turns very quickly into a nightmare! He dreams of his brothers & family bowing down to him, and what ends up being his downfall is that he tells his family of his dreams. Unfortunately, Joseph's eagerness about his dream causes him to be despised...which then makes his dream disguised! His dream becomes disguised as punishment, a pit & being sold to an Egyptian named Potiphar into slavery! All at the hands of his own brothers! But we will soon see that hope is not lost....and neither is his dream! It's just disguised! And we will see throughout these chapters the miraculous fulfillment of his dreams as he trusts in God! Do you have a dream? Does it seem out of reach right now? It may not be lost...it may just be disguised by the hard journey it takes to get there! Just trust in God! Give God your dreams, and see Him do a great work in your life...which could even extend beyond the dream itself!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
