A Gentle Generation

Bible Reading 4/26: Psalms 73, 77-78

Psalms 78:4

We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

Many teens & young adults today are facing trials & hardships we did not experience...either that, or these things were not as exposed as they are today...much confusion & suffering has manifested itself in this generation, and it's because God is the hidden Factor now. What was once censored has now become over-exposed, while God has been the One pushed aside...as the Scripture states, we are not to hide His Word from our children & the generations to come! But unfortunately, this has gradually happened in our society. There is no longer a fear & respect of God, but a fear of respectfully talking about God has risen up...we need to change that! This generation feels the constant need to fight & defend itself because it does not look to God for safety & protection...in turn, we have a forward generation in a backwards world...but it's time for a gentle, godly generation to come on the scene! Instead of protests, we could be gently & compassionately praising God together! That's the goal anyways, right? Unity is not caused by division, so let's join together, share the absolute Truth of God and give this generation what they really need and are seeking after! We want the best for them in Jesus' Name! They not only can be a saved & loved generation, but a generation chosen to do great things for God!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
