A Glimmer of Hope
Bible Reading Today: Leviticus 5-7
Leviticus 6:13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.
Although the fire on the altar meant sacrifice, it also meant a purging of sin & corruption. That light of fire upon the altar was a bright glimmer of hope that there was a connection with God...and there still is today! "Let there be light" was spoken by God in Genesis, and all throughout history people have been searching for light in a dark world-especially, as this Scripture mentions, a fire or light that was never meant to go out! Jesus has never dulled! He is still the brightest Light & Glimmer of Hope we have of the Heavenly...but has our passion become dulled? Do we need to re-ignite the fire a bit? Let's allow God to do that in us today as we open up to a move of His Spirit!
