A Great Showing
Bible Reading Today: Jeremiah 38-40, Psalms 74 & 79
So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: We will shew forth thy praise to all generations. Psalm 79:13
We care who shows up when we have a gathering. As much as we like to say it doesn't matter to us, and we give people the option, it always warms our hearts to know who makes the time...and that's true for God too! What if the priests and those appointed to serve in the tabernacle left it empty, vacant, void, without sacrifice or tending to the things of God? No one in the congregation of the Israelites would have had direction. What if churches today were empty? God knows our hearts, but just as God knew what creation would like like in His mind, He wanted to see it on display. He wanted to see that great showing of life forming as He spoke the words! Let's give God a great showing and set aside some extra time for Him!

A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
