A Heart to Heart
Bible Reading Today: Proverbs 22-24
Proverbs 23:15 My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine.
It is true that as parents, we not only care for our children, we pour our hearts into them. Each time we teach a new skill, lesson or piece of knowledge, it's just another chance to have a heart-to-heart with our kids. We not only tell them how to do something for their brain's sake, but we tell them why it's important for their heart's sake. And when their hearts grab hold of the Word of God, what a special moment it is! We see them love something eternal, everlasting & unfailing when they start reading & applying Biblical Truth...and that is the ultimate goal! As this Proverb says, if our children's hearts are wise, our hearts will rejoice too! Those heart-to-hearts with our kids really matter. When we share the Truth of God in love, we are sharing something so special and building an eternal foundation, especially in teaching repentance, water baptism in Jesus' Name & receiving the Holy Ghost! Because more than knowing how to talk, walk, get to the grocery store, or get into college...it's most important to get them into Heaven!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
