A Hidden Prayer

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Isaiah 65-66, 1 Timothy 2

"And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear." Isaiah 65:24

Have you ever had a prayer that you were scared to pray, yet you knew it needed to be done? Or a prayer you thought was too insignificant to pray? In these instances, we have to remind ourselves that God hears our prayers & needs, even before we ask! Just like He knows us before forming us in the womb, He knows our prayers before they are birthed as well! He knows our hearts & desires. He doesn't think a prayer is too big or too small! Just PRAY THAT PRAYER! The connection with God through prayer is so strong & powerful, and it MATTERS!

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." 1 Timothy 2:1‭-‬2

While we must pray for those we know & love, God also gives us authority to pray for those IN authority in our community! Prayer is the only hope of changing this world...we can't keep our prayers hidden! Even though God knows it before we pray it, we can't cut off our connection to God! We have to pray that prayer! We have to give birth to that prayer! That's how we give birth to the victory & miracle! It's all because of God, but we have to do our part in prayer!

"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:3‭-‬4

We can't expect hearts to turn to Jesus without prayer! We have The Truth, and so it's up to us to share it & not keep it hidden! We can't refrain from speaking Scriptures or praying Scriptures in this day & hour! The world needs our prayers to be born! The world needs our witness to be born, in Jesus' Name!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
