A Lowly Path to Heavenly Places

Bible Reading 7/30: Isaiah 54-58

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Isaiah 57:15

It is interesting in our Bible reading that we are able to learn the same lessons from different perspectives...giving us more & more reason to see things God's way, and not trust in our own way. We've looked at the topic of humility before, but this time we see that humility is the door we walk through to higher, Heavenly places! The best way to dwell with Jesus is to be like Jesus. It is a lowly path to Heavenly places, but it's also a path most worth it. The suffering & servitude Jesus exhibited led Him to life, while the lofty lives we try to live on earth don't amount to much...Jesus is the only deserved Lofty One...but He showed a lowly example of a way we can experience Heaven with Him one day! Repentance, baptism in Jesus' Name & receiving The Holy Ghost are the 3 Keys which, if humbly accepted, lead us through the plan of salvation to eternal life with Jesus! We can't stack a mountain of worldly wealth which will reach it's way to Heaven's door one day...because even if it went that high, there are still those 3 Keys needed to unlock the door! It's different, maybe even uncomfortable. It's lowly. But it's THE WAY!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
