A Mountaintop Experience
Bible Reading 9/2: Ezekiel 20-21
Ezekiel 20:40 For in mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.
Our Pastor has been focusing lately on getting to higher ground, going to high places & achieving greater things for The Lord than we did before. As I look back on things I've worked hard on in the past, I now say, "Why not for God!?" It's so interesting that sometimes it doesn't take much to motivate us to do the worldly things. To take on life's challenges. To explore and travel the world...but in reality, we have a Spiritual world with more meaning, more depth and more eternal value than anything we could accomplish on our bucket list! We should make a Scriptural bucket list! One that's going to help us achieve a mountaintop, monumentous experience for the glory of God!
