A Perfect Connection

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Psalms 100-102, 1 Corinthians 1

"I will behave myself wisely In a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart." Psalm 101:2

How is this possible? Walking around our home wisely & perfectly, as if we didn't have anything testing our patience, stressing us out, or worrying us?? Turns out, this declaration CAN be true! But not because we are perfect, it's because we have a perfect connection with the One who is! That makes us imperfectly perfect, the way God intended it. A perfect reliance on Him can truly make all the difference!

"My days are like a shadow that declineth; And I am withered like grass. But thou, O LORD , shalt endure for ever; And thy remembrance unto all generations."

Psalm 102:11‭-‬12

One Psalm later, and imperfection has set in! Like a shadow declining, withering like grass...a world apart from the perfection of that last Psalm! But why? Because there is a raw honesty taking place here. A desperation for The Lord which is present in the good & bad! In the bad times, keep the perfect connection strong! Claim that The Lord shall endure forever, and that He will help you endure whatever you're facing today!

"He will regard the prayer of the destitute, And not despise their prayer." Psalm 102:17

ALL PRAYERS ARE HEARD! THAT'S WHAT I CALL A PERFECT CONNECTION!

"that in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:" 1 Corinthians 1:5‭-‬6

We are enriched by Jesus. In everything we think, say & do! He enriches us & helps us to endure!

"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." 1 Corinthians 1:10

Perfectly joined in connection with the Body of Christ. Perfectly joined in connection with God. That's where we become perfect, like our Father in Heaven is perfect...because we are connected to The Father & are extensions of His image in the earth! We don't have to get it right every time, but we have to seek the One who is righteous to help us through!

"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."

Matthew 5:48

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
