A Pondering Heart
Bible Reading Today: Matthew 2, Luke 2:39-52
Luke 2:51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
What if one day, we tried to go through life without thinking? Kind of impossible, because you have to think about not thinking in order to even somewhat try to grasp it. We are bombarded by so many things to do, to see, to talk about, etc. So thinking just happens naturally. But what about having a pondering heart on the things of God? That can happen both naturally (and supernaturally) too! What if we prayed, pondered and pressed into The Word of God just as much as we allow other things to reside in our minds? Mary spent time pondering many things in her heart. When Jesus said or did something, especially out of the norm, she held it close & dear to her heart. With all the room taken up in our minds, it's time to store up some beautiful words of Truth in our hearts. When we use The Word of God as a filter for everything else we take in, we will have a much better outlook on life! Let's seek to have a pondering heart instead of an overloaded mind!

A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
