A PRAY-ER IS A SOLDIER!
"Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me." Psalms 66:20. When we are in a prayerful connection with God, we need to realize the strength & power behind us! We are a force that no blood, sweat & tears could match (besides the ones shed in prayer for us by Jesus Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane! That was the greatest prayer! Matthew 26:36)
God will not turn away our prayers or His mercies from us! We may face rejection in this world, but God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34), so He is no rejecter of persons either! He loves each & every one of us...so why not fall deeper in love with our Savior with a deep connection in prayer?
A little late, but in light of Veterans Day, what better way to honor the tragically fallen than to lift up the families in prayer! Prayer is the best stand against the enemy. The devil is out to destroy, but we can be there develop a better world through powerful prayer.
Calm moments with God can hit the devil much harder than our own exertion & strength ever will! And we won't get worn out!
