A Promise Awaits
Bible Reading Today: Joshua 16-18
Joshua 18:3 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?
In this Scripture, Joshua asked the remaining tribes who did not receive their inheritance of land, "What are you waiting for!?" Maybe they waited because they thought God was going to miraculously move them to the land without them moving...? Maybe they were unsure if the promise was really meant for them...? Either way, it was time to get a move on! The promise was waiting for them! Sometimes, we do the same thing. We don't realize that God is ready & willing to do a miracle in our lives, and all we have to do is ask! We have to act if we want God to act! Some people complain that God is not listening or active in their lives...some people think they are unworthy of His blessings, miracles & promises...if only they knew of what was awaiting them on the other side! We can't just wait for something to plop down in front of us from God! We need to ask & talk to Him about it! God wants to hear our voices. God cares for each one of us. Let's go possess the promise that awaits, and not sit around missing out!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
