A Rich Reward
Based on Ezekiel 26-29
Although prosperity in this life is usually measured by what we have, it is not the definition of success. The true reward is Jesus, and residing in a heavenly home with Him eternally. That is the richest reward! Trusting in the pleasures of this life for eternal satisfaction is just a temporary disguise to an eternal demise! Focus on Jesus, our True Treasure!
"And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea? 33: When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise. 34: In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall." Ezekiel 27:32-34.
Trusting in riches for happiness is just as shakable as the waves of the sea! Tyrus was a thriving area of buying & selling, and God caused it to be completely destroyed for its focus on luxury. It filled many people & nations, selling many riches, but there was no focus on the TRUE reward-all was done in vain! Many people need to be filled by God! Today, that's the Holy Ghost! Jesus in us, a true rich reward!
"With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: 5: By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
6: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
7: Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
8: They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. 9: Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee." Ezekiel 28:4-9.
What are we using our intelligence & wisdom for? Are we using it for our gain, and not for His glory? So we can shine instead of letting God shine through us? The beauty of Jesus in us is more beautiful than any jewel!
"Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob. 26: And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God." Ezekiel 28:25-26.
We must be part of those that are gathered unto God-who prioritize & understand the True Treasure & Rich Reward: Jesus Christ! Without Him, this life means nothing...and there's no hope for a rewarding life to come. Jesus gave His all for us-getting close to His heart is the most rewarding thing we can do!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
