A Royal Covering

Bible Reading 2/24: Numbers 3-4

Numbers 4:13 And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:

In the tabernacle, the ashes were replaced with a purple cloth. This is significant because purple is a color of royalty, and it was to be layed down in place of these ashes...just like Jesus, our God and our King, layed down His life that we may not die in sin! That we may not live a dead life, but live a life full of the Holy Ghost and full of the promises of God! When we live for God, we are living a life as children of The King, being a part of that Heavenly, eternal royal family. Just as was signified in this Old Testament example, we can die to our old life, leaving it in the ashes, and take on the covering of Jesus Christ upon our lives!

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
