A SECURE HOPE
"Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;" Hebrews 6:19. As sure as an anchor on a ship, so too is our hope in Christ! No matter what troubled waters come our way, Jesus holds us steady & calms our storms!
"And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!" Matthew 8:26-27. There is no reason to fear with Jesus, only reason to hope! He creates a great calm in our lives.
Jesus is our anchor & refuge! DON'T JUMP SHIP!
"The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet." Nahum 1:3.
If we took more moments to think of how easy it is for God to help us in our time of need, then we wouldn't worry so much! THE DEVIL NEVER HAS THE UPPER HAND-UNLESS WE LET HIM! The above Scripture states it perfectly (as God always does!). He's got you safe in the whirlwind and the storm...and the clouds above which are the sources of the whirlwinds and storms. You know why? Because He is our source of strength! He created the weather, so He is in control!
Allow God to be the upper Hand in your life so you have that upper hand & secure hope in your dilemmas. Let's work on this together and encourage one another!
