A Sweet Incense
Bible Reading Today: Exodus 30-32
Exodus 30:7 And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.
Imagine a dim morning, just as the light of sunrise starts creeping in. We could think of it like a "good morning" from the true Son, God Himself, Jesus Christ. Imagine speaking to Jesus first thing in the morning during those peaceful moments of solitude...how would our day be affected? Honestly, we would probably carry the peace of that morning with us throughout the day! That sweet time of prayer is like the sweet incense Aaron burned every morning as he lit the lamps in the tabernacle! The words of our prayers rise up as sweet incense & communication with our Savior. I truly want to make more of an effort to make mornings this special each & every day...I'm sure as we strive to hear God's sweet voice in the mornings, our days will be filled with His presence everywhere we turn!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
