A True Hero
Bible Reading Today: Proverbs 16-18
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; And he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Proverbs 16:32
These Proverbs are truly a beautiful explanation of how to live the life we desire. The Proverbs are full of ways to problem-solve...and it's a little opposite of the world's way of doing things! The world, especially lately, says "Who can I blame?" But the Proverbs say, "How can I change?" God's way of living tells us that in order to live the life we desire, we need to stop blaming others and start seeing how we can change for the better. In order to be a true hero, we don't overcome others, we overcome ourselves! Being slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city, according to this verse above! Winning an outside victory is great, but an inside victory is even better!

A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
