A Whole Life

Bible Reading Today: Matthew 13, Luke 8

Luke 8:48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

This chapter in Luke holds the key to unlock a "whole" life. Oftentimes, we feel like something is missing. Things could be better. We question, "Surely God has more for us, right?" We are left thinking that some pieces are missing which will help us have a whole life...and in this chapter, faith is the one piece that makes all the difference! In this Scripture above, it was this woman's faith in coming to Jesus which made her healed & whole. A few verses after, Jairus' daughter was perceived to be dead, but Jesus assured all surrounding her that she was just asleep. He told them, "...Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole." Luke 8:50. Although there was some laughter, there also must have been some belief, because she woke up & was alive again! Clearly, our life is not complete when we have all the answers. It's complete when we have faith in The One Who does! We CAN have a whole life for our whole life if we trust in Jesus!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
