All for His Glory
Reading of the Day (2/2/25): Leviticus 7-9
Leviticus 9:23: And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the people.
In reading through these past chapters of Leviticus, we see a continued description of the instructions on what Aaron & his sons were to do in the tabernacle. We see the process & pattern of anointing, holy garments to be worn, sacrificing & offering, and so much more. Now, in these chapters for today's reading, it was time to put it all into practice-"show time!" All the congregation gathered. Moses presented Aaron & his sons and washed them after consecrating themselves 7 days before. They performed all the patterns of the sacrifices as pleased The Lord...but that wasn't the end of "the show!" I'm sure the people had a lot to take in-each intricate detail being displayed before them-but the real show was God's glory! After each step of the process was fulfilled, the people were blessed & God's glory appeared! This was the purpose-it wasn't simply a display of the willingness of Aaron, his sons, and the Israelites to obey God...it was a display of the fruit of that obedience! It was like a beautiful sunset after a long day of work. It was the reason the whole process, done right, was worth it! So the next time we question the process, we just have to remember that if we obey God through it all with a patient heart, we will see God's glory! We will see His goodness! All we do, all we go through, is all for His glory! Not only do we want to see it, but we want Him to be lifted up & glorified as The One Who brought us through!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
