Always Another Giant
Bible Reading Today: 2 Samuel 11-12, 1 Chronicles 20
1 Chronicles 20:8 These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
After David killed Goliath when he was young, his problems were over...just kidding! There were still more things he would have to face in life! After all, he was just a kid or teenager at most when he slew the giant...there was so much yet to be experienced by him! As this Scripture states, he ends up killing more giants of Gath later on in his life! We have to face the fact that we will always have another giant to face-we will never have the perfect life, and that's not the goal either! Honestly, the goal is to handle life's imperfections perfectly, and the way to do that is to trust in our perfect God! He is bigger than any giant problem we will ever face! He can help us peacefully & powerfully overcome our problems! Thank you Jesus!

Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
