An Everyday God
Bible Reading Today: 1 Kings 9, 2 Chronicles 8
2 Chronicles 8:14 And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.
God did not set the world into motion during those creation days & just say, "Ok, finally done! The world can continue all on it's own now!" Nope! Although God did create the earth to turn continually, life, growth, and death to take place, God never walked away from creation! In the above Scripture, it's clear we have an "everyday God" that's worth serving everyday! However, He's not just an everyday God...because "everyday" can mean ordinary! He is a miraculous, eternal God Who never stops working & blessing us every single day, so as Solomon, the priests & all the people praised & ministered as the duty of every day required, we must do the same! We want God present in our lives at all times, so we must purpose ourselves to spend time in His presence every day! What an awesome, everyday God we serve!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
