Another in the Fire
Bible Reading 9/14: Daniel 1-3
He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Daniel 3:25
This is such a heartwarming message in this Scripture...and our hearts feel warm not because of the heat of the fire, but because of The One Who is there with us. There is a worship song based on this Scripture which talks about another in the fire, standing next to us...and His Name is JESUS. When you're going through it, REALLY going through it, when the pressure is too hard & the heat is on...remember Who is there with you. Also, remember that He will also see you out of the fire! Yes, life sometimes takes you in and out of trials, so you might get back in a difficult spot again one day...but just know that Jesus stands with us at our weakest. In our pain. He doesn't stand afar off, asking, "Hmm...I wonder how they'll get out of this one??" Nope! HE is how we get in, and HE is how we get out. Fire is necessary. Refining in necessary. Struggles will happen...but Jesus will love us, guide us, teach us, and see us through!
