ARE WE TOO BUSY!?
"But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Luke 10:40-42.
Martha & Mary were sisters, and they had a brother named Lazarus. When Jesus came to stay at their home, Martha was frazzled! She wanted to make sure everything was spotless, food was prepared, and nothing went wrong. Her sister Mary decided to sit & listen to the teachings of Jesus instead of helping, & Martha was upset. But Jesus told her that Mary chose correctly!
Are we too busy for Jesus in our lives?? This is very important to evaluate! We need a balance between our "Martha" and our "Mary"! Yes, we should not neglect our responsibilities, but if these things come before our relationship with God, then we've got it all wrong!
"Divers weights are an abomination unto the LORD; and a false balance is not good." Proverbs 20:23.
It's very easy for Moms to be Marthas, I think! Let's pray for one another so we can all prioritize God first and have balance in our lives!
"But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." Luke 12:31.
God will take care of the rest and help us out, if we take care of our relationship with Him! 😉❤

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
