Atoned at the Throne
Reading of the Day: Leviticus 4-6
Leviticus 6:7: And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.
Although we should never be proud of sin, we should also understand that we cannot beat ourselves down for our imperfections. I am sure that some who approached the tabernacle with their various sacrifices of sin offerings, burnt offerings, peace offerings, and more felt some sort of shame or guilt. Some probably felt so unworthy. But some probably also felt a sense of relief and joy. And this is not because they took advantage of the process, knowing that an offering would just "erase the mistake" and they could just go on living sinfully on purpose...this was a deep sense of humility and gratitude that God made a way to be forgiven! And that's exactly what we get to enjoy today at the altar of a church, or our own personal altars of prayer. We get to come, lay ourselves down (our sin, our baggage, our cares of this life), repent, and be made whole again as The Lord gives us the precious gift of forgiveness! And we do not need to come forward as those who are defeated by shame, guilt & unworthiness...we can come forward thankful that Jesus made a way for us to repent and turn from our sins! Hebrews 4:16 states: "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." Let's go boldly to His throne and be atoned! Redeemed! Forgiven! Refreshed on this journey called life together! Be atoned at the throne in Jesus' Name!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
