BE JOY-FULL!

BE JOY-FULL!

"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full." John 15:10‭-‬11.

Yes, it's one thing to be in a joyful mood, but how about being full of joy? So full of joy that you're satisfied, lacking nothing? That's where Jesus comes in!

If we purpose ourselves to walk as He walked & keep His commandments, we will abide in His LOVE and be JOY-FULL!

"And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity."
1 Corinthians 13:13.

I recently used this Scripture-but just to remind you-the greatest of all these things is charity (love)! And remember, GOD IS LOVE (1 John 4:8)!

So, love & joy are not just moods or characteristics. They are very important to God, and so they are the most important qualities we need to be full of! Think about it...those things are really all we want out of life anyway! Temporary things can make us joyful, but only our eternal God can make us joy-full!

Have a joy-full day! 💕😃

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
