Blessed, Not Oppressed

Bible Reading Today: Leviticus 24-25

Leviticus 25:17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.

In Leviticus 25, the year of jubile is described, and it is an amazing time of release, refresh & reliance upon God's provision. It occurred every 50 years, and during this time, slaves were freed, debts were forgiven & people rested from work...this means God allowed an abundant harvest from previous years to sustain them for the 50th year and even a few more after that! They were to fear God & focus on Him alone...and how could they not!? All of God's goodness was surrounding them in a special way during that special year of jubile! We need to keep that same mindset all the time! As the above Scripture states, we shouldn't oppress each other. When we focus on God's goodness, we don't have time to do that! How can we pour out negativity when we are constantly reminded of all God's goodness He pours out to us? He forgives us, heals us & helps us in any way we need Him...so we should do the same to others! We are blessed, not oppressed! So let's let others know that they too can experience a life of blessing living for God, freeing them completely from the things which could be holding them back from their breakthrough! "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Matthew 22:37‭-‬39

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
