Born with Purpose
Based on Jeremiah 1-2, Psalm 110
"5: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
6: Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
7: But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak." Jeremiah 1:5-7.
Jeremiah had one of the most important jobs to do: he had to speak to the people of lost people of Israel to turn back to God. Jeremiah felt very ill-equipped for this job because he was a child, but the verse before that explains that God does not call the equipped, or the ones with earthly experience...He equips the called! Because even before we are children, and even before we are formed as BABIES in the womb, God knows us! He sanctifies us! He ordains us! Before our physical bodies are formed, we have a spiritual purpose assigned to us!
That's why God told Jeremiah, "don't say you're a child. You'll be able to speak whatever I command you." That's because he will be obeying God & fulfilling his amazing purpose for his life!
"26: As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets.
27: Saying to a stock, Thou art my father; and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us." Jeremiah 2:26-27.
The people of Israel should have been ashamed, because they claimed other gods, and another father, besides God! As God told Jeremiah, He is the One who formed us in the womb! He is the One who formed our spiritual purpose before our physical bodies! Jeremiah was young & needed to hear that, and Israel needed to be reminded of it! That's why Jeremiah was sent forth!
We are born with purpose. God has amazing plans for us. He has a perfect will. Seek Him with all your heart & find exactly what you're looking for, in Jesus' Name!!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
