Boundless in Christ!

Gina Pietrzak

Based on 1 Corinthians 1-3

I know what you may be thinking-didn't we just talk about borders & boundaries? And now we're boundless? While that's true, and it may seem contradictory, once the borders & boundaries are drawn, and the foundation in Jesus is laid, we can build boundlessly upon that as we grow in The Lord! As long as we keep God as the focus & reason for our growth & prosperity, nothing can stop us!

This is what Paul was teaching the people at Corinth in his letters (Yes, jumping into the New Testament!):

"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." 1 Corinthians 1:10.

The people needed to build upon the same foundation in order to prosper in Christ! Jesus gave us ONE WAY-HIMSELF! Division is not going to get us to heaven. Building upon our own strength won't do it either. In order to be boundless in Christ, we can't be bound to our own limitations as humans. We need to give into the Spirit of God, and set boundaries away from the dangers of the world!

"But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men." 1 Corinthians 1:24‭-‬25.

God is greater than ANYTHING we will face! That's why David could fight Goliath in the Old Testament. That's why Paul had the boldness to speak this message! Even the smallest nugget of knowledge from God is far beyond our human ability to think about. Next time you worry about the outcome, look to the One who is able to bring the increase:

"So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase." 1 Corinthians 3:7.

Yes, just like we learned with the Israelites, everyone has specific jobs to do in order to keep order. But Paul is reminding us that we can't lose sight of WHY! It's because we are choosing to join with God & allow HIM to bring the increase. We can work as hard as we want, but if it's not God working through us, we can't be truly boundless! We can't reach the potential God has in mind. So let's keep our hearts focused on God-He desires to see you prosper!

"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." 3 John 1:2.

We must have a boundless soul, completely surrendered to Jesus, before our lives can prosper. It's the soul that lives on, not the cares of this life!

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." 1 Corinthians 2:9.

Such beautiful words, spoken by Paul but INSPIRED by GOD! He wants us to know that not even our own thoughts can imagine or put limitations on what He has prepared for us. Wow! His love for us is boundless. Is ours? Have set up fortifications against this world in order to be boundless in Christ? Think about it!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
