Bring it all Together
Based on Zechariah 10-12
"And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them." Zechariah 10:6.
Looking around, there are many things around my house I can spot which are "out of place." Some things are scattered (but hopefully not shattered!). The house of Judah was the same way! It was all a mess without God. Just like we need to get a little clean-up done to bring things together and get things in order again, God needed to do the same type of restoration in Judah, and He needs to do the same in us too! Sometimes the mess inside is bigger than the one around our house!
"And I will strengthen them in the Lord ; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the Lord." Zechariah 10:12.
He strengthened them, and He will strengthen us! He has the power to bring each member of His Body together in unity. In sync. In perfect harmony with His heartbeat! If your life seems like a mess, or if you feel you need more direction, seek God NOW!
"In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem." Zechariah 12:8-9.
Not only does God bring things together, He sets us apart! He removes our enemies, wickedness and evil! He protects us against all harm! He preserves our path as we walk close to Him. All of these Old Testament descriptions of God point us to the fact that JESUS IS GOD! Jesus is of the lineage of David! God always has a way of revealing Himself to us, and now He wants to do it THROUGH US! Our life can't be fully together or make sense without Jesus!
Seek God, find peace! Get it together with Jesus as the center! He won't let you fall apart!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
