Build a Relationship with Jesus!
Based on Ephesians 1-2, Psalm 51
"That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:"
Ephesians 1:10
When we are in Christ starting with the Acts 2:38 plan of salvation, we take on His identity. We have the fulness of His Spirit. We choose to belong to Him, and we begin the journey of building a deepening relationship with Him every single day!
"In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,"
Ephesians 1:13
That seal of the Spirit paves us into this building of God with all the other people in the Body of Christ. This is the start of building the foundation of our relationship with Him & experiencing the true promise of God through living in His Spirit!
"Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:" Ephesians 1:21
Jesus helps us to build something of much greater value than anything we can achieve in this life. We can build something which stretches to Heavenly places-into eternity! Far above anything we could ever imagine!
"But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;" Ephesians 2:13-14
Christ's Blood brings us together in unity in this relationship building process. In this particular building, there are no partitions of power or authority, because God Himself is the One with all authority & power! When we surrender our hearts to Him, we are no longer judges of others. God is the only Judge, and He desires all to come to Him and be saved!
"And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit." Ephesians 2:20-22
Our bodies are temples for His Spirit to dwell! That's what we have been meant for all along! That is the depth of the closeness of the relationship Jesus wants to have with us! In building our relationship with Jesus, we are building ourselves into the promise with everyone else who follows Him. Our personal temple is a part of God's overall church, fitly framed together in Him! And Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone-he holds us all together! He is our Rock, Foundation & Salvation!
"Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me."
Psalms 51:9-10
This process all starts with repentance. We have to clean out the space we want to build upon! We need a clean heart & right spirit to begin building!
"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem."
Psalms 51:17-18
The true building process starts with brokenness. From Old to New Testament, that was the whole purpose of every sacrifice. Not that an animal's body takes the burden, but that our spirit would understand that through all that, it's our brokenness through it all which brings us closer to God & builds that relationship with Him. Ultimately, it's the sacrifice of Jesus which truly allows us to experience true repentance and get into the promise of God in His Spirit! It's His love which allowed Him to do that for us, so we need to continue to build our loving relationship with Him!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
