Can't believe my eyes!
Based on Isaiah 30-31, Philippians 4
"Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together." Isaiah 31:3
More now than ever, the world has become an unpredictable place...unfortunately, what we see scares us instead of keeping us safe...we have to remember what this verse says, not only about the Egyptians in this case, but the world as a whole in our case...the world is human, and not God! The world's ways are driven by flesh, not Spirit! As we see the things taking place, and we can't believe our eyes any longer, we have to remember the ONE we CAN believe is GOD! He is stronger than our flesh! When we walk by faith & not by sight, our vision becomes more clear, and our safety more secure!
"As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it. Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted." Isaiah 31:5-6
As Israel had many times went back & forth rejecting God for the world, we too must remember to turn back! Have we found ourselves trusting in the world more than God? Have we been let down for that reason? It's time to lean a little more on The Lord! Not only can we not believe our eyes at what's taking place, we don't want to believe our eyes!
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God." Philippians 4:6
With God, we won't have to worry about where this world is headed, because we are choosing a different direction-we are Heaven-bound! God hears our prayers, and that's more powerful than the ways of this world any day!
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Philippians 4:8
Now of course, we don't want to leave this world without hope either...we must remind them to think on the things above! It's been a long time since anything true, honest, just, pure, lovely, or of a good report made the top news story...so let's get the world moving in a different direction! Instead of the unbelievable ways of the world, let's remind them to believe in our God!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
