Can't Pause the Cause!

Based on Genesis 25-26, Matthew 8:1-17

Sometimes, you get clogs in the pipeline. Sometimes, the water pressure isn't the best. Sometimes, it seems like there's a problem in our lives that just won't go away, no matter how hard we try, and we just can't get past the obstacle in the way. Well...

GOOD NEWS! YOU CAN'T PAUSE THE KINGDOM'S CAUSE! God's rivers of living water will continue to flow throughout our lives, the more we trust God with our lives! The more we have faith! He will get us through the tough times & get us "un-stuck"! God's Will WILL be done! Are we choosing to be a part of His unstoppable promises!?

"And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them. And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water." Genesis 26:18‭-‬19.

The Philistines stopped the wells of Abraham after he died. So, Isaac his son decided to dig them up again! He didn't walk away and say, "Oh well, that's a lost cause..." He probably remembered that you can't pause the cause of God! God makes things HAPPEN! God brings new hope & new life, even when we are feeling hopeless and stuck. Go back to the old wells! Speak life again! Get out of the hold-back and get ahold of God!

"And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land." Genesis 26:22.

Even in times when Isaac faced persecution for digging some wells, he just moved on to the next best opportunity! He dug another one! He didn't give up. The Lord made room for him! God "un-clogged" his path! He removed the problem, and Isaac also claimed the promise to be fruitful in the land! Is something clogging our connection to God? Before God un-clogs our path, it might just be time to renew & refresh our connection to Him first! Then, He will make a way where there seems to be no way!

"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Isaiah 43:19.

"And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed." Matthew 8:2‭-‬3.

One of the greatest clogs in our connection to God is a lack of faith! The lepers, the blind, the centurion's servant...all were healed because they already claimed the unstoppable ability of the power of God! If God wants it to happen, it will! But the only thing which could be in the way of experiencing God's promises is ourselves! We can't pause the cause of the Kingdom! It's time to get on board with a whole lot of faith, and be made whole!
