1 Chronicles 12:22
For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.
We are sometimes torn between wanting to do things ourselves & not admitting we need help, or desperately wanting someone to help us. In ANY situation, help makes things easier on us! Every single day, in every battle David faced, God sent mighty warriors to help him! He had new people everyday, which probably meant he had people fresh, strong & energetic prople constantly available. Once one battle was won, he obtained a whole new army who was not tired out yet & ready for battle! With God, David was never able to exhaust His resources! Soon, this group grew & grew! And I'm sure once the old ones rested & recuperated, they joined in for more great victories! This is exactly what God wants to do for us! We can get fresh help daily when we rely on The Lord & call upon The Name of Jesus! For every enemy, He provides a friend! For every problem, He provides a solution! But we must ask, seek, trust & obey like David!
