Dead End

Gina Pietrzak

Based on Isaiah 47-49, 1 Thessalonians 4

"I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous." Isaiah 48:15

In the emptiness & weariness we sometimes feel, we have to remember that it's not "game over." Maybe we've hit a wall. Maybe we are talking & no one is listening. But remember, when Hezekiah faced a wall of death literally, it was not a dead end! It was a prayer opportunity! On the other side of prayer & the other side of the wall is our greatest miracle if only we don't forget God in the process...and He will make our way prosperous! The only thing we should lose at the wall are our dead ways which prove to fail every time-and take on God's ways!

"Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go." Isaiah 48:17

If you see no way, God will make one! In fact, the Way is already there because GOD is already waiting for us at our miracle! He TEACHES us to profit! He doesn't only get us from point A to point B, but He shows us HOW to do it next time we find ourselves at a "dead end."

"And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted." Isaiah 49:11

God has so many answers to our questions, and solutions to our problems, if only we turn to Him! He has paths in the mountains, and highways which will take us beyond our dead ends!

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

1 Thessalonians 4:16‭-‬18

Relief in this life is great, and God surely provides it...but complete eternal release is even greater! When we die out to our sins & self-will at our dead ends, we let God do the salvational work which will get us to Heaven one day! We must repent, get baptized & get the Holy Ghost to go from dead end to life everlasting!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
