Deep Cleaning
Bible Reading Today: Leviticus 11-13
Leviticus 11:45 For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
These 3 chapters emphasize "cleanness" and "uncleanness" constantly throughout each verse. We could ponder why this is so important, but in reality, it makes sense in a simple way...we like being clean & tidy! Of course, it's easier said than done, but Biblically & practically, it just makes sense! God wants a people clean & undefiled from the inside out...and we also desire to see that same cleanness in our lives! A mess brings stress...and we always feel the urge to tackle it & make things clean again...with God, this concept gets on a deeper level-we need a deep cleaning! And it's all for the purpose the above Scripture states: holiness! When we let God into our lives by receiving The Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in new tongues, and we are cleansed through repentance & baptism, we get a refreshing that extends beyond just dusting the surfaces! Dust off those Bibles during that upcoming spring cleaning routine and let The Word of God change your life, clean some things out & give you a whole new life of holiness, cleanness and peacefulness!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
