Devour, or Deliver?

Bible Reading Today: Isaiah 31-34

Isaiah 33:11 Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.

Our words have the ability to do powerful things..."Death and life are in the power of the tongue: And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Proverbs 18:21. We will eat the fruit of what we say. We will either enjoy, or suffer, the consequences of it. Some quotes & statements have been coined & shared by famous people throughout the ages, and there are some things that have been said that we would like to forget. The bottom line is that our human speech fails us...even if we have good intentions with what we say, that doesn't mean it will be received well. We need to pray about our conversations as best we can! The above Scripture says our breath, like fire, will devour us...we can't always trust it...but we can always trust God's Holy Language! Just like fire can either help or hurt us, our tongues can too! God's Holy, Heavenly Language-The Holy Ghost & fire-will always deliver us instead of devour us! When our words fall short, God's Word breathes life through us! When we receive The Holy Ghost, we speak in unknown words which never can be taken negatively because it's a language between us & God! Pray earnestly in repentance for the gift of The Holy Ghost! Jesus brings peace, joy & eternal life when we receive His Spirit & speak His Language!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
