Divine, or Divide?

Bible Reading Today: Psalms 56, 120, 140-142

Psalms 120:7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

The world today is divided over so many things...without getting into specifics, it's easy to think of a few...so much tension, but yet...is it really needed & necessary? As the Scripture states, even when we try to speak peace, there are those who take those words of peace and still try to make war out of them! That's exactly what David is trying to say in this Scripture. But thankfully, David did not speak this out of hopelessness! He spoke it knowing God has the final say, and a trust in God alone can bring true peace! We can only make it so far across the divide on our own-this nation needs a Divine Intervention! We need to pray for the hearts of our nation to surrender to Jesus to see US, the U.S., become one nation under God again!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
