Don't be afraid to ASK!

Based on Isaiah 7-8, Ephesians 2

"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14

The Lord told Ahaz king of Judah to ask a sign of The Lord when they were in desperate times...but he wouldn't ask! God then said that if you ask & depend upon men for things, you should do the same with The Lord! In fact, how much MORE should we rely on the answer of God than the answer of men!? Therefore, God told Ahaz through Isaiah that He Himself would give a sign...and that Sign is Jesus! He would give Himself to us to be relied upon. To answer our questions face-to-face. To get on our level so people would want to get close to God again!

"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:"

Ephesians 2:4‭-‬6

God is so rich in many things...He has so many abundant blessings, if we only ask...but the main things He is rich in are love, mercy, peace, and all things that cannot be touched or corrupted by this world, and those are the true treasures we can take with us to Heaven one day! We need only ask Him in prayer, and we can be ready to receive of His abundance! We should not fear asking The Lord, or treat Him like a last resort...He wants us to come unto Him! It's part of the beautiful relationship we begin with Him when we repent & get baptized by water & Spirit! Don't be afraid to ASK!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
