Don't Quit!
Bible Reading Today: Genesis 12-15
Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
In these chapters as we head back into Genesis, we see Abram experiencing many things with a roller coaster of emotions. Traveling out of his homeland with his nephew Lot, separating from his nephew, then having to save his nephew being carried away captive by the king of Sodom...departure, dependency, division, devastation & domination over an enemy...all because of the provision of The Lord! Through all this, Abram was wondering, where is my promise? I am following along a very difficult path, with no light at the end of the tunnel...but as this Scripture says, "After these things..." The Lord took time to encourage & remind Abram of how He is his abundant Protection & Reward! When we win The Lord, we have our Reward! The promise & blessing of a child was still to come because of Abram's faithfulness in staying on The Lord's side! So don't quit pursuing a walk with Jesus! There is always a light at the end of the tunnel..."Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." John 8:12

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
