Don't Settle for Less!
"26: For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
27: Glory and honor are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place." 1 Chronicles 16:26-27.
We hang onto to so many comforts in this world. As was spoken last night at church, the comfort zone is a dangerous place! It seems like the safest place, but that's because we become content with good, instead of accepting the challenge to strive for great! We can't put our trust in what's around us, especially if we're refusing to leave our comfort zones!
We may have grown up with certain traditions, maybe even certain idols, but let's not forget where we REALLY came from! We are The Lord's! We can put our trust in Him alone!
"9: Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
10: Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
11: Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.
12: Remember his marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;" 1 Chronicles 16:9-12.
Talk of His marvelous works, and remember them! Especially when struggles come. Especially when you want to turn back to the comfort zone of complacency. More wonderous works are coming! Pray into it! I have to constantly remind myself of His good plans awaiting on the other side. I am going through some battles myself, but I don't want to give up or give in. In doing things God's way, I know miraculous, marvelous works are on the way!
"19: O LORD, for thy servant's sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.
20: O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears." 1 Chronicles 17:19-20.
Nothing we hear about, especially today, is greater than God! He is the best. He is the One who truly loves us! This world has so much darkness & corruption in it...we need God! Don't settle for less!! STRIVE FOR HIS GREATNESS!!!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
