Drawing Water
Based on Ezekiel 47-48, 1 John 3
"And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh." Ezekiel 47:9
Although going to a river to draw water seems like a thing of the past, we know many countries still get water this way and are not as fortunate as we are. But then, who sees the true value in the water? Do we take water for granted? What about Jesus, our Living Water? Do we blame our dry seasons on our circumstances alone, or have we simply stopped drawing water?
"And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure." 1 John 3:3
Even if we're going through a rough time, we can't expect hope & refreshing to just "appear." A connection to our Living Water Source, Jesus Christ, is essential! We have to do something about it! Again, as fortunate as we are, we can acquire water in our country without much effort...but if we think about it, hope has been pretty hard to come by in our country lately, even though we have many luxuries. As the above Scripture states, "...every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure..." Our hope bucket needs to be deep in the pure, Living Water of Jesus, just as Ezekiel was shown a vision, brought deeper & deeper into this River of Life!
"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight." 1 John 3:22
As we keep His commandments and keep asking and drawing water, we will receive what we need! We will be able to see the value of the Water as we continue to make an effort to draw from Him, not taking it for granted. Keep drawing from The Living Water Source, and soon you'll be walking upon water in your own life!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
