En route to success!
Reading of the Day: Deuteronomy 34, Joshua 1-2
Joshua 1:8: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
A new book of the Bible has begun, and a new chapter of the journey for the Israelites is starting! They are finally en route to the promised land, closer than they've ever been! Moses has passed away, and 2 spies go to spy out Jericho. The route to victory would only be successful by having a good routine led by God! In looking at the word "routine," I noticed that it includes the word "route." When you have a good routine, plan or system down, it helps you to be on the right track, or en route to success! If the Israelites were to keep the book of the law fresh in their minds, hearts & speech day & night, then God would make their way prosperous & they would have good success! When we get in the habit or routine of opening God's Word with an open heart, we are en route to success! The structure laid out in the law is by no means a limitation-it is the liberty to be victorious & overtake the enemy! What habits or routines do we have going so far this year? Have we kept up with any "resolutions" ?(I use that word lightly lol). Where are our current routines leading us? Are we en route to success, or en route to a rut? It might be a hard truth for us to face, but it's worth the evaluation! God has ways, plans & routines that will put us on the best route to success...the question is, are we willing to step out in faith & change a few things? We can do it with The Lord's help, just like the Israelites!

Surviving the Peace Plummet

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
