Enduring the Battle
Based on Isaiah 53-55, 2 Thessalonians 1
"And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee." Isaiah 54:13-14
Sometimes, when things are hard, we automatically think they were not meant for us...we try to look for an escape route rather than a battle strategy! But when we are taught of The Lord, we can endure the battle! That doesn't mean danger does not exist for us, it just means we will be victorious whenever we face it! God wants us to grow, and that can't happen if we don't face our battles!
"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD."
Isaiah 54:17
God never said there wouldn't be weapons, but He does tell us that His side is the winning side! So why look for an escape when you can experience a victory? Our righteousness is of HIM, not anyone else! Run to Jesus, endure the battle & win the victory!
"and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,"
2 Thessalonians 1:7
While enduring the battle, God also gives us rest & peace! We don't have to wait until it's all over...but we know that when it IS all over, He will be there, because He was already there through it all! Jesus is with us in the trial and in the triumph. He never leaves. He never forsakes. So why should we escape? Endure the battle. Keep going. With Jesus, we'll make it!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle

It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
