Equipped for Battle
Based on Psalms 143-145, 1 Corinthians 14:21-40
"Blessed be the LORD my strength, Which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:" Psalm 144:1
It is relieving to know that we serve a God who prepares us for the things we will face in life. Any battle, any challenge, any trauma...every mountain is climbable with God! His Word has all the tools we need to get through our struggles! Through His Word, He teaches our hands to war & fingers to fight! He equips us with a strength that's no match for this world's drama!
"Happy is that people, that is in such a case: Yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD." Psalm 144:15
We can be happy knowing we serve a victorious God! We are on the winning side with Jesus! While He does fight our battles for us, He also prepares us to do our part as well! There's no way we can lose with Him!
"The LORD upholdeth all that fall, And raiseth up all those that be bowed down."
Psalm 145:14
We don't have to raise the white flag to the enemy if we surrender fully to God! When we serve The Lord with our whole heart, following His whole Word, then even death doesn't mean defeat!
"Let all things be done decently and in order." 1 Corinthians 14:40
Let Jesus order our steps toward the next battle to come! Let us be open to His Spiritual strength & Spiritual weaponry to face that next challenge. We don't have to dread the future...we can look forward to it as God equips us for the next battle, where we can confidently say we will win!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
