Even I will sing...

Reading of the Day: 3/13/25: Judges 3-5

Judges 5:3: Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.

God always gives each one of us a reason to praise! He may put a song in our heart, or just a simple Hallelujah! We don't have to be a singer or on the worship team to express that praise to Him! In this instance, a judge in Israel named Deborah experienced a victory in battle. She was confident from the beginning that they were going to receive the victory, and she had to convince those around her that God was going to bring them through it! That's some incredible faith! Being a woman at the time, one wouldn't think that she would be so bold...but she was! And God allowed the king of the enemy's land to flee into the tent of another woman, who ended up killing him & winning the battle for Deborah and her people! This story just goes to show that it doesn't matter what our positions are, or what we think our weaknesses or limitations are...we always have a reason to praise! We can always have a confidence in God! In this Scripture, she sang to the kings & princes, men of high status, saying "I, even I, will sing unto the LORD." We need to tell everyone that if I can do it, you can too! If I have a reason, so do you! Praising is a universal language, and together we all have the ability to praise our way to the next victory!

Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...

A Moment of Silence.

As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...

The Heart of the Struggle

Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
