Bible Reading 9/16: Daniel 7-9
Daniel 9:9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;
Every single day, I mess up. I have trouble keeping my cool during the craziness of each day. My children mean everything to me (God first though!) and I know they are watching everything I do. I need Jesus every moment of the day. I need His grace as a Mom, but I also need His conviction to go to my children to apologize when I have trouble holding it together. I need His love to hold me as I hold my children. And as this Scripture states, I need His mercies and forgivenesses too...notice those words are multiple, not just once! For me, that's not just multiple times a week, but in a day! Though we have rebelled against Him, He is willing to give those things to us. Even though we don't deserve Him, He comes to us with open arms. It's that "even though" that we so easily forget about. Even though we fail, He is able to pick us back up & help us keep going. He holds the tools we need to improve in our weak areas...it's not up to us to "get it together" before we come to Jesus. We need to give it to Jesus to put the pieces back together again. Even though we mess up, we don't have to be defeated! We shouldn't refuse to change because God will forgive us; however, we should give be thankful for God's mercy, forgiveness & grace along the way to where we want to be. God bless each one of us on our road of improvement!

Surviving the Peace Plummet
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Peacefulness is the toughest muscle there is, and exercising it only makes it stronger. However, it proves to be the most difficult to keep toned & honed consistently in our lives. Peacefulness is like that one workout that you know is going to take the most time...
A Moment of Silence.
As was powerfully preached this past Wednesday, "Let there be light" were the first words spoken by God in Genesis 1:3... And He wasn't necessarily speaking about a physical manifestation... But a Spiritual one. Knowing that creation Would mean redemption. It would mean... Heaven needs to touch earth... Light would need to pierce the veil of darkness... The process of creating was ongoing... All the way to the point of creating in us clean hearts (Psalm 51:10) by being born again of water &...
The Heart of the Struggle
Focus Scripture: But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19 Hello again! It's been about 4 months since I've stepped back into this space, and I have to say, I am taking very gentle steps. It's been on my heart so much to write again, but I am treading lightly. I may not post every day, unless God leads me there again...but for now, I am just moving forward in God's grace. I have some blog ideas stored up that I've been saving over time as I reflect upon His...
