Expectations
Bible Reading Today: Jeremiah 26-29
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jeremiah 29:11
Some of the greatest let-downs can be expectations...but that's because we often misplace them! People are not responsible for our happiness, yet we sometimes place those expectations upon them. Yes, they can bring us so much happiness, but we should not be disappointed when they don't live up to our idea of what they should be for us. Thankfully, God provides all that and more...because HE IS OUR HAPPINESS! HE IS OUR JOY! He has thoughts of peace toward us and gives us something to look forward to-an expected end! Place your expectations in Jesus, and you'll never be disappointed!
